Team Horsefly Logo Design
Design work for my adventure racing team.
Team Horsefly came to be in the fall of 2011 when my good friend and I decided to enter "The Fig", Kentucky's longest running adventure race. 12 hours of trekking, paddling and mountain biking navigating by map and compass to checkpoints hidden in Red River Gorge, Kentucky.
The logo was inpsired by the constant harrasment we received while doing summer training on the trails being chased and bitten by horseflies. We often laughed about how if only our team had the persistence of horseflies we'd be destined to win. And so become "Team Horsefly"
