P-47 Foundation Branding
Branding Design work for Evansville's P-47 Foundation
In the 1940s war efforts Evansville, Indiana produced thousands of products including the renowned P-47 Thunderbolt fighter plane. It has been a longtime dream of the Evansville community to hold one of these historic aircraft in a museum and make it accessible to the public.
I had the honor to work with the Evansville Wartime museum and the P-47 Foundation through my work at Gray Loon to craft a Foundation brand and marketing materials that would help to raise funds to bring one of these aircraft to our home town. In May of 2000, our dream came true when the "Hoosier Spirit II" a P-47D Thunderbolt made in Evansville touched down at Evansville Regional Airport and made it's home at the Evansville Wartime Museum.
