The Pfeifferhorn Summit
Backpacking and peak bagging in the Wasatch
On June 15-16 I set out to bag the Pfeifferhorn peak. Due to the massive amounts of snow the Wasatch got this year, I opted to backpack in, camp 1 night and summit early the next morning so the snow would be nice and firm from the night's freeze.
This was a really amazing experience. Total elevation gain was around 4000 feet putting me at the top of the 11,303' peak.
