Angel's Landing Winter Hike
3rd time up. Zion National Park, Utah
This was my 3rd trip to Angel's Landing and my first in winter. What an experience! This was part of my annual getaway with my best friend from back in Indiana. This hike capstoned a week of skiing and hiking in Utah. We intially had a bottom up Subway permit, but the Ranger at the permit office talked us out of that due to conditions. So we did many of the other Zion hikes that day and applied for the "next day" Angels Landing permit and luckily scored one. Along with the Landing we did a small portion of the West Rim trail after getting back to Scouts Lookout. Zion NEVER dissapoints!
