Angel's Landing Hike

That famous hike in Zion National Park, Utah

While not a long hike, or a particularly hard one, I feel like this one merits some discussion. For one, it’s a lottery hike. The National Park Service only allows so many people up this per year, so getting tickets was an accomplishment in itself (Thanks Honey!).

This hike was amazing with stunning views and some challenging terrain. It was less than 6 miles with about 1430 feet of gain, mostly up switchbacks. I hiked this one with my wife and we'll definitely be doing it again! Sidenote... we followed this hike up with a short one in the Narrows. If you're going to Zion, these are two bucket list hikes you’ll want to do.

If you're interested in hiking this, I highly recommend it, you can find details and lottery submission information at the National Park Service website.
